Mountbatten, Singapore is an estate within Kallang near to Marine Parade. Its total area size is 161 hectares. It is essentially a residential estate of posh bungalows and landed houses, Apartments and condos. There is a small HDB estate along Jalan Batu area. The estate is named after Lord Louis Mountbatten. Mountbatten MRT station is a station on the Circle Line.
The Mountbatten Road, however, stretches all the way from Kallang to the Katong area. There are several notable landmarks along Mountbatten Road, including the Katong CC (formally Mountbatten CC), Goodman Arts Centre (former Lasalle school), Sin Hoe Hotel and Katong Shopping Centre (at the end of Mountbatten Road).
