In today’s Business Times Article Singapore is ranked above New Zealand and Hong Kong to take pole position in the Asia Pacific Investment Climate Index for 2014. Hong Kong dropped to third place, after China’s more pronounced influence on the island affected its ranking in political stability. ASEAN on a whole did not score well, exceptions being Singapore and Brunei. The next highest ranking after the two is Malaysia at #9.
